Summary: Sonic thought he deserved a little bit of a break and goes away for a trip and Rouge convinces Shadow to go along with him to give Shad a chance away from their friends to confess his feelings, but the plane they're on crashes and they only just make it on the nearest Island. With Sonic deathly afraid of water and Shadow unable to Chaos Control that far to Mainland without an emerald, the two are stuck and have to wait it until they're found.
