Didn't think it could get better, but this definitely did. Very gripping and insightful pov. I actually love Shadow's behavior in this, can't wait to see more!!
Only thing I noticed is one use of 'too' instead of 'to'.

-I hear him sigh in exasperation before he speaks. "Calm down, hedgehog. I don’t plan on punishing you... unless of course you want me too?" he asks with hilarity in his voice.

'Unless of course you want me to?"

Glad to hear you enjoyed this chapter! ^_^ Yeah, I wanted Shadow to be as in character as possible and this is a result, so I'm glad you thought it was good. More will be coming next week, of course~
