Normaly I don't review anything until the second chapter, but hey, I'll make an exception for you.
You didn't give much detail about the inside of the house, other than it was old.
Also, when you say ghostly, do you mean transparent-ish, or as in, just appering out of nowhere?
I didn't really see much wrong with your spelling, spelling really isn't my forte either.
Also, it's ingulfed, not ungulfed.
Anyway, good luck with this, I know you'll do well.

Author's Response: Thanks, I did like write this at 5am, (I couldn't sleep and the idea came to me, I wanted to get it down before I forgot) so I'll spend more time on the next chapter. When I say ghostly I just think it covered both those points. And yeah, I think ungulfed was typo, they're right next to each other on the keyboard ^_^;
