FINALLY! This is excellent. The metaphors and similes were put in completely the right place. I love this ending very much. Endings are very hard for me (had over 143 failed ones for a couple of my own fics) so I know how you feel. It seems like the more you do, the more likely you are to mess up. Well, you didn't. In fact, this is the best story I have read in a long time. I think I caught a disease, 'cause now I feel all warm and fluffy. Great work. I loved it. ^^
Author's Response: YEAH! I was terrified that no one would care for the ending itself. As a matter of fact, I suffered and went into a mild depression today. But this reveiw made me happy. I honestly have to seriously disagree with this. I find that with love, there is always hope, a way to end on a better note. Having been writing and RPing for 10 years on Sonic, and 5 years of that being Sonadow, I found that with the right work, you can add the amount of romance and drama, without ending it on a sour note. Its really about the adventure DURING the story that matters, but its also never a good idea to leave endings on a depressing note: It just doesn't work.
I really had to admit, I LOVED the bulk of the story, and the climax...but the ending just left me with little more than a sour taste in my mouth. Either it ended poorly...or it ended too soon, I can't decide which. Depressing endings just turn me off, and it doesn't HAVE to be so.
Author's Response: Everyone! Get out your notepads, workpads, or what the hell ever and take note!!! This is how you review a story! I love it Shadow, and you are write, but writing experience is just not the real world, and Love does not translate directly into hope. I agree with your review, absolutely, but I tend to write a darker ending to happier stories. The main reason this story is sour, is that Sonic cheated on his boyfriend, and that never turns out well. (Almost no matter how annoying and ridiculus the kid, Tails, is. The choice was actually due to postings elsewhere.) My other story with a sad ending is An Assassin, and that is only cause it has a sequel. (I am pending on the final chapters...) Thank you!!! I love the review. (I am a HUGE fan of good reviews. Also, it ended too soon, I know, I had to cut and run to be honest, but the ending was going to be this as an alternate, but it didn't happen. Author's Response: Well, I don't recall posting the chapters. You can tell me if they were posted when you reread them on the premier date, kay? I don't care for the fox/hedgehog pairing for the same reason, but it was perfect for this story. Noticed how I avoided any sex scene with the two. HAH! I can't wait for 2.....

While I'm not a fan of Sonic x Tails (at all), I respect that other people like it, so I won't bug you about it.

Author's Response: Thank God I got a review I thought I was being black listed. Anyway, I was not either until I saw a picture by battle angle that depicted tails having two cocks. (Bug me if you wanna see...) and I was like cool, and someone on another site wrote a sonicxtails fic with tails having a double and I was like awesome. May be in story for a threesome.
