That was so cute. ^o^ Good job!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and I loved it, I read it who knows how many times. Even if it was short, it was very lovely anyway!
I just luuuve ur work.
I should say it's amazing how you managed to insert so many elements and details in one short story. Everything's clear simple but meaningful and deep at the same time.
I read ur other stories as well. Can't wait for the next chapter of He's my master.
very very very short
Author's Response: indeed. See definition of 'Drabble' in the response to the first review of this story. Although technically speaking, Drabbles are supposed to be 100 words exactly, so this thing is actually too LONG.
hehehehehehehe
hohohohohohoho
hahahahahahaha
i saw that movie in fact its one of my favorites
your story was short, simple, and bittersweet
very nice! I like it! It does remind me of that movie!
...I envy joo D: <
oh gods, this was the sweetest short story eva~ so yummy also, I mean, who would have known~?
HAHAHAHA, TAKE THAT SONIC d: <
wonderful, hope to see more~! D: >
This reminds me of an old folk tale my mother used to tell me before I went to bed... from the time I was born right up until I was thirteen years old. It's so cute! Don't quite get it though... Did you spell chocolate wrong on purpose? Anyway, I like this! it's cute! I'm gonna read it to my daughter until she turns thirteen... like my mother did to me! X3
I like this drabble, I am not quite sure why, but there’s something about it that intrigues me and draws me in. The only thing I wonder about however is if you haven’t seen Chocolat then would you understand what’s happening?
I must say I especially like the way you opened and closed with the same line, it gave me a feeling of finality while still hinting at things yet to come.
Well done hun, drabbles aren’t easy to write, and I applaud your efforts.
Author's Response: Heh, glad you liked it...^^ I'm not sure whether you would understand what's actually going on if you haven't seen the movie, but I was mostly going for atmosphere here. Thx for the review, tho! :D (and btw, will we see a new thingy from YOUR account soon...? ^^)
No, I didn't like it. And I only review to tell you that I have no idea what the fuck just happened. I think you attempted to give a summary, but gave away to whole story, and no, just no more "chappie." You are not at the level of the other authors to use that reserved word yet. Instead, try taking this down, making a REAL first chapter (it would start with the chocolatier, and how there is a void in his life that his sweets were simply not feeling). In the next chapter, introduce the dilemma, or problem, that the chocolatier not only obsesses over his miscue, but even more so of the mariner himself. The next chapter can delve either into the psyche of the obsession or the desire of the river boater for that one true love. In the next chapter, you have them meet (perhaps using their individual drives to have them meet in chance). With the next chapter, have them make sweet, sweet (pun intended) love, perhaps involving some kinky strawberry banana with oozes of chocolate syrup. (
Author's Response: I would agree with just about anything...escept that it's a drabble. I do think I'm at the level to know how to build a story, and this isn't one. Meaning, no next chapter. Instead, I'm working on the next chapter of my cinderella sonadow adapt, which IS a real story instead of a drabble - but if you would want to adapt chocolat in the way you planned to in your review, I'd probably check it out.

Definition of Drabble from ever-faithful wikipedia: "The purpose of the drabble is brevity and to test the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space."
