I thought I had reviewed this before, but I can't be certain of that now... maybe on FF.net?

Personally I loved the story. I'm a sucker for this genre and I'm of the opinion that there needs to be more of it. There wasn't much to work for as far as this idea goes, but I'm not sure that was the point precisely. You seemed to be writing to develop Lancelot as a character and show the inner workings of his mind. You did that marvelously while focusing on the conflicts concerning his honor, duty, and morals. 

I also loved how you developed Galahad's character. Personally he was always my least favorite of the knights considering how lackluster and perfect his character seemed, but giving him a nervous tick like fidgeting with his gloves made him all the more relatable to me! Great job! I really admire your way of creating lively characters.

You honestly managed to crawl into Lancelot's head and give the reader a thorough understanding of the character. There was tension in this simple story and that made it all the more appealing. You truly immerse yourself in your world and that is one thing I have always admired about you. It's something a lot of writers (myself included) lack. Cracking a modern joke in a story like this would be easy, but you hold a sort of sophistication by keeping it true to its older roots.

Now if I reviewed before and said something totally different, well... then I guess I reviewed twice!

And much fangirling was had by all!

There's nothing I can critique in here, so I'll just list off all the good stuff.  Which is everything, really.  I especially enjoyed Shadow's monologue at the beginning; it's Lancelot talking, but you can feel the similarities between the two (of course).

The extra bits, like Silver/Galahad's glove-fiddling and his history with Lancelot, add that extra dimension to the story that just sucks you in; that's hard to get, in a oneshot.

All in all, YAAAAAAAAAY!  I'm off to re-read it several more times.  8D
