I haven't seen the Star Trek movie, but this kind of makes me want to. I suspect I've said it before, but it bears repeating!
I imagine it would be better if it had hedgehogs instead of people, though.
Not much in the way of constructive crit from me, as I'm too busy enjoying the story. The chapter feels a little short, but then again, it's better to be short and sweet than long and boring! ^^;
Wow, this is getting pretty interesting. Oh, I love it how you make things clear as to not confuse people who don't follow the series. As to not spoil the story for myself, I am going to wait until it's done before watching the movie. Man, I'm missing out. Thanks for the good read and for inspiring me to watch it. :D
I am sorry if my review appalled you and dampened your spirits, which is preventing you from writting more. Your story is awesome, I just was apparently too harsh. I'm sorry.
Author's Response:Of course not :) I love reviews, but they don't dampen my spirits or effect my update schedule in the slightest. I'm just in the middle of moving which is preventing me from editing the next post. Besides, I didn't take it so seriously and it certainly wasn't appalling. I've had much worse than someone pointing out a detail I missed and slapping me on the wrist over it. ;) I acknowledge that I probably should have mentioned it once you brought it up, but hindsight has 20-20 vision
So, What is the test? No details whatsoever? Never going to tell us? You just left out a very big detail from the story. That is a deduction of 2.5 stars.
Author's Response:I was writing primarily from Shadow's perspective and observations. ;) I didn't know I was being graded on it and I'm sorry you feel like a huge detail was missing. I didn't find it revelant so I didn't include it. I would argue that the Kobiyashi Maru is not a very big detail, but it's all a matter of opinion. I apologize again if you feel like I've done you a grievous disservice though.
Wow... well written. Seriously... you had me hooked into the story to the point at which I practically saw nothing wrong with it.
Just take out the double word "watch" at the beginning of the story. That was the only thing I saw.
I swear your talent for writing just keeps getting better and better. Keep it up!
Great work! Shame on me, I never watched Star Trek, but I like your story nonetheless. At first I found it somewhat tiresome (no offence, please), but I kept reading and soon found myself unable to tear away. I like the way you handled the characterizations, and I can't wait for Sonic and Shadow to meet ^^
Heh, I know you still have other series to take care of, but I hope that updates on Enterprise will follow soon ^^
Right. I've been lurking, and reading this. The fact that I know nothing about the latest Star Trek movie doesn't even bother me. I think I'll learn everything I need to know right here...
It's great. Write more, please? :D
Interesting. I like it.
Well you have my vote ^^
Can't wait to see what you have in store! -sits down with popcorn to watch for more- XP
XD HAH! Man, I had entertained ideas of Sonic/ST crossovers in my head all the time. Me and my friend actually RPed a few of them.
This is interesting, and I can see where the influence from STXI jumps in.
