Sonic the Hedgehog #6 (IDW)
This early issue of the Sonic IDW series features Shadow’s first appearance in the comic, and artist Tracy Yardley does a great job of bringing the encounter between Sonic and Shadow to life. One of the most iconic moments in the issue is the moment Shadow pins Sonic up against a tree in the midst of their fight. It gives Sonic a moment…and a suggestive look, to talk Shadow down from his determination to take out ‘Mr. Tinker’.
Sonic the Hedgehog #35 (IDW)
In Part 3 of this story arc, it is mostly focused on Sonic and his friends at the Chao Races, as Rouge calls them in to face a hooded villain. A fleeting Sonadow moment comes towards the end when Shadow swoops in to catch Sonic from falling.
